Our DMF Education Fund supports the education of vulnerable Cameroonian children and youth especially girls. Kendrick a 3 years old boy lost his father in 2019 and has been left to his mother Winifred who is a temporal Cleaner where she sweeps and weeds the streets of Limbe.
Like Kendrick vulnerable children and youth supported through the Education Fund depend on the educational assistance brought forth through;
Scholarship assistance to be able to pay for school fees and tuition
Provision of basic school needs like books, bags, uniforms, shoes and toileteries.
Health and social assistance
Cash support for feeding
Cash support for transportation
Through the last quarter of 2020, DMF was able to provide direct assistance to a total of 10 children and youth by help of the Education Fund.
As we move into 2021 with gratitude for life through 2020 which was a very difficult year globally we call on you to remember these vulnerable children and youth we support by virtue of your kind donations. Please do well to continue with us on this journey to #ImpactLives by making a kind donation today.

‘Women and children’ – a phrase often used as a byword for ‘civilians’ – are assumed to be weaker, less rational, and in need of protection, which is provided in exchange for submission to the leadership of their protectors.
The vulnerability of women and girls who have been affected by the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon continues to increase and as an effort to contribute our quota to provide support for them through generous support and donations from donors like yourself. Find below an update of our impact in the last quarter;
1. Policy and Advocacy:
Displaced populations, often unaffected by national policies and priorities, may remain marginalized by national government gender mainstreaming efforts. We continue our work to push for gender favourable policies, programmes that provide the right needed support to women, children and girls who are victims of the ongoing crisis.
We also monitor and evaluate ongoing funded national programmes to ensure they are meeting the needs of the intended beneficiaries.
2. Health Assistance
We are currently providing health assistance to 10 internally displaced women by paying for their health assistance annual subscription fee with BEPHA Heath Assistance program.
3. Documentation Project
With other stakeholders we are currently running a project for support to get necessary lost documentation (IDs, birth certificates etc) as a result of burning, loss while fleeing from previous living locations etc.
