Water for 100,000 Indigenous Villagers in Paraguay

This project will provide life-saving access to safe drinking water for over 100,000 indigenous villagers in Paraguay. Regular use of ceramic filters has been shown to reduce the incidence of diarrheal disease within a community by as much as 50%. Improved health through access to safe water means children attend more school, women have more time to devote to income-generating activities, families spend less on medical expenses, and communities see infant mortality decrease. project reportread updates from the field
