Mission

World Vision Lanka (WVL) is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. The organization serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender and has worked in Sri Lanka since 1977. Currently we serve 34 locations in 15 districts across the country. Our approach is participatory and community driven, empowering communities to take ownership of their development journey.
