In 2020, there will be 1.4 million computing jobs available in the US. If current graduation rates persist, women will fill just 0.04% of these jobs. Girls Who Code is committed to changing this. Our proven Summer Immersion and Clubs Programs effectively inspire, educate, and equip young women to pursue computer science in academics and professionally. In 2014, we are scaling programming to increase our reach and impact, bringing CS education-for the first time-to girls everywhere.
