For nearly 26 years, the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation has been working to ensure that no child is left without treatment simply because it is too expensive. During this time, the Foundation has extended a helping hand to approximately 10 000 children. The children who have received support come from all over Estonia, and assistance is provided according to their individual needs – whether it is expensive medication for children with rare diseases, various assistive devices, developmental therapies, psychological support or other forms of assistance. The Foundation also provides children’s departments in hospitals with vital, innovative medical equipment.
