We work to create inclusive and resilient communities where every person can access protection, education, livelihoods, essential services and opportunities to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives. Our approach is grounded in human rights, equality, gender responsiveness, disability inclusion, safeguarding, community participation and accountability. Rosa Care works with communities and local partners to prevent and respond to gender-based violence, strengthen protection mechanisms, promote disability inclusion, provide psychosocial support, improve access to education and economic opportunities, and strengthen climate-resilient livelihoods. We also support community awareness, advocacy and referral systems so that vulnerable people can understand and exercise their rights and access appropriate services. Our mission is rooted in locally led action. We believe that communities are central to identifying their own challenges and developing sustainable solutions. We therefore work alongside community leaders, women, youth, persons with disabilities, volunteers and other local stakeholders to strengthen community capacity, promote dignity and reduce the risks of violence, exclusion and discrimination. Ultimately, Rosa Care seeks to ensure that vulnerable people are not only recipients of assistance, but are recognised as rights-holders and active participants in creating safer, more inclusive, equitable and resilient communities.
