To provide resources in a Cortes Health Centre for the benefit of all residents and visitors to Cortes Island. To manage the finances of the Cortes Community Health Association so that the centre will be self-sustaining. To secure, for said clinic, the services of health practitioners who are appropriately trained and able to meet the medical needs of the community. To act as liaison between the community, Ministry of Health and other branches of health care delivery, health education, and administration in the Province of British Columbia.
