We were created to respond to the social and environmental challenges brought by rapid tourism growth, and to foster educational, economic, and environmental opportunities that strengthen the territory. We support young people, entrepreneurs, and families through processes that nurture their talent and capabilities, guided by the belief that the most meaningful development is one where the community becomes the protagonist of its own future and the steward of its land. Rincon del Mar is a territory of great cultural and environmental richness, yet it faces structural challenges that affect access to opportunities and the quality of life of its community: - It is part of a ZOMAC zone and a PDET municipality, with long-standing impacts from the armed conflict. - A 90% Afro-descendant community, recognized as a subject of collective reparation under the Victims' Law. - The municipality of San Onofre reports 78% multidimensional poverty in its rural areas. - Fewer than 15% of high school graduates access post-secondary education. - High levels of labor informality and youth unemployment. - Valuable ecosystems at risk, including the Caribbean Sea, tropical dry forest, and mangroves. How do we approach our work? We design methodologies created from and for the territory, shaped through our ongoing dialogue with the community and a perspective built from within. We believe in the importance of measuring results, but we also know that the goal is not just a number-it is the process, the learning, and the transformations that unfold along the way. We work with a long-term vision, strengthening capacities, walking alongside people, and creating opportunities that generate real and lasting impact in the territory.
