The Oregon Chinese Hoop Alliance (OCHA) was officially registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2023. OCHA's core mission is to foster friendly relations among the Asian community and beyond in the Pacific Northwest through a wide variety of programs and activities. The primary activities include but are not limited to: facilitating recreational basketball games, organizing kids/family activities, providing sports education opportunities, and hosting cultural events. OCHA has also developed strong relationships with local businesses and various communities outside of the served communities as part of the outreach effort to help achieve a broader impact.
