Kuumba Evanston was originally formed as Equity & Empowerment For Evanston Families (EEEF). Our EIN remains under EEEF. Our original program was called Camp Kuumba and because the families we serve refer to us as Kuumba, we eventually changed our legal business name with the Secretary of State of Illinois to Kuumba Evanston. All of our current programs, The Kuumba Evanston Olympic Games, Camp Kuumba and the school year programming that we run, are all named and known as Kuumba Evanston programs.
