Empowering the patient and caregiver community Neuromuscular Disease (NMD) Community - Patient Registration System: establishing a system for registering patients - Community Engagement Activities: Organizing group gatherings and activities to foster connection, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support among patients and caregivers. 2024 Activities - "Patient Advocacy Workshop: Meet the experts part 2" under the Neuromuscular-Get-Trophy (NGT) project, organized in collaboration with the Siriraj Muscular Dystrophy Center, Julie Cini, Monica Ferrie, and medical student volunteers on March 17, 2024 - Activities to develop the potential of the group of patients with muscular dystrophy Co-organized with the Bangkok Noi Fire-Fan Learning Center, Thanachart Bank, and Siriraj Muscular Dystrophy Center on May 25, 2024. - Activity to donate assistive devices: electric wheelchairs and lifting aids to patients with muscular dystrophy, 1st time/2024 on May 31, 2024. - Parade for Diversity at Bangkok Pride Festival 2024 under the name Neuromuscular Family United on June 1, 2024. - "On day Trip" activity at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum and National Aviation Museum on July 6, 2024. - Co-organized the event Uniting Hearts, Working Together, Brainstorming, Defeating Muscular Dystrophy on September 1, 2024. - The activity "Get to Know Me, Get to Know You" on September 30, 2024. - Online activities "Color your dreams": We hope We play We drive on December 28, 2024 2025 Activities - "True Love to the Genes": a communication campaign to raise public awareness about Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and encourage carrier screening, organized by FEND - "Gather and Play; at Relearn Fest 2025": travel with kids and family, enjoy this fun and educational festival designed for children and families at Museum Siam, hosted by MAPPA - "Gather and Play: at Space Journey BKK": take a trip on a recreational and educational trip through the wonders of space and aviation exhibitions. - "Special Events": 2 additional events on equipment donation days, presented on February 26, 2025 and June 17, 2025. - "Bangkok Pride Parade": celebrate diversity and equality by marching in the Bangkok Pride Parade, promoting inclusion for all members of society. 3. Promoting social awareness and acceptance of neuromuscular diseases Information Dissemination: creating and sharing media, campaigns, and events to raise public awareness and reduce stigma related to neuromuscular diseases.
