Mission

Jaya Mental Health's mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by mental illness living in low- and middle-income countries. We do so, by investing in the training and professional development of local nurses, community workers and many others - those who, with the right tools and resources, can bring much-needed support to people who otherwise have no one to turn to and revolutionise the way mental health care is delivered in regions where resources are limited. At present, most of our work takes place in South Asia, particularly in remote areas including the Himalayan Mountain range.
