About this case The Rodzić po Ludzku Foundation is a non-governmental organization whose goal is to work with pregnant women, mothers of newborns, and midwives. Our goal is to provide healthcare based on kindness, professionalism, empathy, an individual approach, and respect for women's needs and choices. We educate women so that they can openly express their needs and demand respect for their rights, so that childbirth is a good experience for them. Our activities include in particular: collecting data on perinatal care in Poland - including: through the "Voices of Mothers" survey completed by women after giving birth, running the www.gdzierodzic.info website providing women with the necessary knowledge on topics related to pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood, creating the "Ranking of Hospitals Where to Give Birth with Dignity" - a database on the quality of services in all maternity wards and hospitals in Poland, monitoring patient rights, advocacy activities in the field of respecting patient rights and necessary legislative changes improving the quality of care in maternity wards, legal consultations for women planning motherhood, organizing conferences and workshops for healthcare workers, supporting midwives in their pursuit of professional independence.
