The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is one of the largest education systems in the world for the poorest of the poor. Founded in Pakistan in 1995, TCF manages a network of nearly 2,000 schools across the country that match the quality of the most expensive schools in Pakistan, but in communities without paved roads or electricity. With women and girls' empowerment central to our mission, we have an exclusively female faculty and enroll girls in parity with boys- radically challenging traditional gender norms at every opportunity.
