Founded in 1947 as a non-profit and non-political association, Volkshilfe Wien is one of the largest organizations for the support, advice and nursing/care of people in Vienna. The central area of responsibility is to provide for and look after people who are needy or in need of help and - as far as possible - to enable them to lead a self-determined life. We are humanitarian workers as well as professional service providers.
