Who We Are

GlobalGiving Fellows Program

The GlobalGiving Fellows Program offers young professionals the opportunity to learn how a thriving international NGO operates. As a fellow, you will get hands-on, practical experience and opportunities to explore the field of international development. The program is a highly selective, full-time service year that will challenge and inspire you, but also require hard work and dedication. You will have the opportunity to explore various areas that interest you, so you can capitalize on your experience. You'll be a vital contributor to our team, not getting coffee or filing papers all day long.

In return, we offer a $30,000 stipend, health insurance, professional development funding, tons of learning opportunities, delicious goodies in our Free Food Spot, and an amazing year!

We offer Fellowship positions for four of our internal teams: the Program, Vetting and Grants Management, Operations, and Business Partnerships teams. We’re hiring seven people for our different fellowship opportunities in 2018:

Alicia Helfrich

Operations Fellow 2016/2017
As the operations fellow, I troubleshoot disbursement issues and collaborate with people from all over the world to ensure that donations are sent successfully. Additionally, I help keep GlobalGiving running smoothly, dig up useful data about our operations, and make presentations at our weekly staff meetings. My favorite project was managing and coordinating our entire disbursement process from start to finish! This fellowship has been a bridge between my traditional business background and my passion for the social sector. I have continued to build technical and financial skills while also learning about the fascinating world of philanthropy. Now, I have the credentials I need to explore jobs in corporate social responsibility, impact investing, or social enterprise.
