It's free for any nonprofit to join GlobalGiving. We don't charge any application fees, monthly fees, or annual fees, but we do charge nonprofits 15% of every donation. Why? Because we can use it to amplify the impact of each donation. With a $100 donation, we'll use $15 to raise, on average, an additional $20 for your chosen nonprofit over time. And while we're at it, we'll provide the nonprofit with tools, training, one-on-one support, and access to a new crowd of supporters.
In 2017 alone, GlobalGiving drove nearly $15 million in extra funding to our nonprofit partners through our marketing, matching funds, corporate donations, bonus rewards, and gift card redemptions. Because of these extra GlobalGiving-driven funds, the majority of our nonprofit partners end up earning more from us than they pay in fees; their Effective Fee is 0%.
When you add 15% or more to your donation, you'll make sure 100% of your original donation gets to the project immediately, and your chosen nonprofit won't pay any fees to access those funds or the valuable programs and services we offer.
