UCA Coronavirus Relief Fund

An outbreak of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus has caused more than 2,000 deaths, primarily in China, with nearly 75,000 cases confirmed globally. The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is supporting GlobalGiving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to aid response efforts in China.

“The UCA community wants to express its support for the Chinese people during the crisis, and try to help save lives,” says Vice Chancellor Bashir Makhoul. “We are working with GlobalGiving to help our staff, students and alumni contribute to the relief effort in some of the worst-affected areas.”

Please show your support by donating what you can to help as China struggles to cope with the devastating effects of the outbreak.

Coronavirus Relief Fund
The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the worst health and economic crises in modern history and it continues to require the best of humanity to overcome. Your donation to this fund will help stop the spread of the virus to protect us all and support communities globally as they deal with the long-term effects of the virus.
How will the money be used? In the first instance, your donations will help fund the relief efforts of local organisations working to stop the spread of the pneumonia-like virus and provide healthcare, food, and water to patients and front-line medical responders in high-risk and quarantined areas. Click on the fund above to better understand how your donations will be used in both the short and longer-term recovery efforts and to read updates from the fund.
