At Marsh & McLennan Companies, we’re committed to the communities in which we operate. As part of that commitment, we pledge to act when natural disasters greatly impact communities where our colleagues and clients live and work.

Marsh & McLennan Companies is partnering with GlobalGiving to help provide relief and recovery from large-scale natural disasters. GlobalGiving sends funds to both multinational organizations and local nonprofits to support immediate disaster response efforts. In the longer term, they work mostly with local non-governmental organizations to rebuild and develop the affected areas.

Experience has shown that local organizations that were there before the disaster continue to be there afterward to contribute to the community’s transition from recovery to reconstruction to development. All of the organizations are vetted by GlobalGiving to determine their legitimate, charitable status wherever they are registered.
