Two powerful earthquakes struck Türkiye and Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023, killing more than 5,000 people and injuring thousands more. The earthquake has displaced thousands of people including some of our own colleagues. This has created an urgent need for food, water, shelter, and healthcare.
GlobalGiving is a vetted organization that has been providing emergency aid and long-term relief programs since 2004. They are coordinating a strategy to get funds immediately to people on the ground. Support to the Türkiye and Syria Earthquake Relief Fund will provide emergency relief and fuel long-term recovery efforts in Türkiye and Syria.
