CHIME FOR CHANGE is a global campaign founded by Gucci in 2013 to raise leaders and ignite conversations in support of gender equality. Through partnerships with leading nonprofits worldwide, CHIME FOR CHANGE supports developing the next generation of activists in the fight for equality. Join us by donating to a project below.
Equality Now is partnering with CHIME FOR CHANGE to mobilize activists to drive progress in the Middle East and North Africa. We'll support these activists - especially young women activists - to advance legal change that promotes gender equality, particularly laws around child marriage, male guardianship, sexual violence and sexual harassment, and nationality and inheritance laws.
Creating intergenerational coalitions has the potential to infuse new energy, skills and tactics into established movements. CHIME FOR CHANGE is partnering with Global Fund for Women to connect young activists with experienced advocates and grassroots organizations. Global Fund for Women will support 3 sister women's funds-Semillas in Mexico, HER Fund in Hong Kong, and ELAS in Brazil-to invest in, highlight, and build locally-led community investment for young women's leadership.
Women and girls of color are at the forefront of the gender equality movement to ensure safety, health and economic opportunity for all women and girls in the United States. Supported by CHIME FOR CHANGE, the Ms. Foundation for Women plans to provide targeted innovation grants for grassroots movement building by women and girls in some of the least resourced communities in the United States, including the South.
One in three women will experience violence in their lifetime. Young women and girls experience the highest rates of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). In 2014, Vital Voices launched The Justice Institute on GBV to facilitate the creation of holistic responses to GBV. Supported by CHIME FOR CHANGE, Vital Voices will leverage the successful methodology of the Justice Institute to convene allied advocates and facilitate survivor-centered approaches to address GBV among youth in Italy.
Young people are changing the world today, creating the reality of tomorrow. Supported by CHIME FOR CHANGE, the Women Deliver Young Leaders Program connects outstanding young advocates with the platforms, the people, and the resources that can amplify their influence on a larger scale. With an emphasis on sexual and reproductive health and rights, Women Deliver elevates the work of young people taking a stand for gender equality.

While women are 51% of the population in Brazil, just 15% of Parliamentarians are women. Supported by CHIME FOR CHANGE, UN Women will host capacity-building convenings to support women leaders as they work towards Brazil 50-50, a parity democracy that will balance the political representation of men and women. Our work will assemble a group of women leaders from Brazil's political parties, including young, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous women to increase their political participation.
