Educare Arizona is a world-class preschool for at-risk children ages birth to five years, with teacher training, public policy and health platforms to ameliorate lives of families in poverty.
The Steve Nash Foundation is working to eliminate the quality gap in educational opportunities offered to our youngest mvp's: at-risk children ages birth to five. In Arizona, just over a third of a million kids are living in poverty, and most of them don't have healthcare. By providing quality early learning and teacher training programs, neighborhood medical services, and help for parents fostering learning at home, we are changing the lives of children, their families, and our communities.
Educare is a preschool for 191 children, 0-5 years old, with highly-trained teachers and a health clinic for families, aimed at breaking the poverty cycle; increasing kindergarten readiness among low-income kids; and supporting at-risk families.
Educare's national network uses leading research to optimize learning environments: partnership, place, program, and platform are changing trajectories, improving school success, economic outcomes, and giving kids the assist they need to amaze us.
