Steve Nash: Quality Early Learning For Little MVPs
What If Nobody Had Cared? (Steve)
Giving children attention gives children opportunity: to grow confidence and feel safe doing it, to learn about the world and all it can offer, and to develop health for a lifetime. But too often, kids don’t get what they need. They “fall through the cracks” and “slip through the system.” We can change that. Working together with supporters like you around the world, the Steve Nash Foundation is growing health in kids by implementing initiatives premised on the idea that children matter.
“Kindergarten readiness”? Get ready for me.
What exactly does "kindergarten readiness" mean? The goal of Educare Arizona is to ensure that all children come to their first day of kindergarten well-fed, rested, healthy, read and sung to, nurtured, and excited to learn. It means buildings ready to receive kids that want to play and run and imagine, and classrooms that inspire creativity. It means communities that take pride in local schools and community members that see the school as a resource. Kindergarten readiness? Let’s get started.
What Are You Looking At?
At the Steve Nash Foundation, we believe in looking at children in the very best light possible - using the most current science to understand what makes new minds and bodies as healthy as they can be. With Educare Arizona, we’re bringing best practices in early childhood education to at-risk children and their families, right from the start. Teacher training, public policy, health services, outreach, and a center of excellence to give our children the assist they need to keep amazing us.
A Place For Every Child
At the Steve Nash Foundation, we believe that income shouldn't dictate access; that a child born into poverty has no less right to have a quality education from birth than a child born into wealth; that all children deserve every bit of care we can deliver to them. Educare Arizona gives the best we have to children and families that need it. With a sustainably-built center that’s easy to access, a neighborhood health and dental clinic, and help for parents, that's a good place to be.
