Grace Association Pakistan registered 200 disabled people in the suburbs of Skardu City, among whom 36% are affected by Polio virus. A person with disability is found in 1 out of every 5th household. They have no access to basic information about rehabilitation let alone education. They are also socially abandoned, dont work, dont have equal rights and they're a forgotten population
The donations will make it possible for these people to be an equal member of the society. With the assistive devices they will be able to get to the rehabilitation and educational center.Disabled children will get books and other supplies for school
This project has been retired and is no longer accepting donations.
This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
