We are writing to update you on the status of our internship program here at The Mariposa DR Foundation. Your donation has gone directly to support our job skills development workshops. While our original intention was to transport our girls to various businesses throughout the North Coast, we didn't raise enough funds. The good news is that many people are willing to come to us! In May we were visited by Geno, a local business owner who delivered a workshop on business ettiquette and how to build a resume. A few of our older girls will get the chance this summer to visit some of the local businesses right in our town to learn about possible job opportunities at restaurants, hotels, water sport schools and tour companies.
Our success is only possible because of thoughtful, generous people like you and we thank you for your support!
