Summary
Direct Governor Election 2007 is the first opprotunity for Jakarta's people to vote for Governor. Until now, the Governor was always chosen by the Delegation’s Council of the People.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
This program will educate the people on the right to vote for their leadership, will survey the track records of candidates for Governor, and will help implement the direct process of election as well as the installation of the Governor. The participants of this project are more than 45,000 people.

More than 45,000 people in 5 municipalities in Jakarta will learn about the governor’s direct election so they will make use of the right vote.
