Alirio Sánchez, a resident of San Carlos, Antioquia.
Peacebuilding is a way in which this town has believed in recent years and whose efforts today show to Colombia that change is possible.
Mi Sangre has always sought to make visible the invisible, so today we recognize the triumph of this town in eastern Antioquia for the symbolic recognition that received as the first municipality to be declared free from suspicion of antipersonnel mines in Colombia.
This achievement represents the hope of an entire country and is the beginning of the consolidation of a peace community in which children and young people - C&Y- are the main protagonists.
Since the inception of the Foundation, Mi Sangre has conducted various social interventions in San Carlos and other towns in eastern Antioquia with the aim of healing the wounds of war and accompanying residents to rebuild a country at peace. Previously the Foundation carried out a process in this town, Psychosocial Accompaniment with landmine victims (APM) and unexploded ordnance (UXO), called Sowing Hope in your country which aimed to contribute to the socio-economic reintegration focused in gender.
Today is running a program called Click for a Better World, this program of Education for Peace offers digital literacy to 1,045 youth in San Carlos, Granada, Cocorná, San Luis, San Francisco and Medellin.

Alirio Sánchez, habitante de San Carlos, Antioquia.
La construcción de paz es un camino en el que este municipio ha creído en los últimos años, y cuyo esfuerzo hoy le muestra a Colombia que el cambio es posible.
Mi Sangre siempre ha buscado visibilizar lo invisible, por eso hoy reconocemos el triunfo de este municipio del Oriente Antioqueño por el reconocimiento simbólico que recibió al ser declarado el primer municipio libre de sospecha de presencia de minas antipersonal en Colombia.
Este logro representa la esperanza de todo un país y es el comienzo de la consolidación de una gran comunidad de paz en la que los niños, niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes – NNAJ- sean los protagonistas principales.
Desde la creación de la Fundación, se han llevado a cabo diferentes intervenciones sociales en San Carlos y otros Municipios del Oriente Antioqueño con el ánimo de aliviar las heridas de la guerra y acompañar a los habitantes a reconstruir un territorio en paz. Anteriormente se llevó a cabo un proceso, en este Municipio, de Acompañamiento Psicosocial con víctimas de minas antipersonal (MAP) y municiones sin explotar (MUSE), llamado Siembra Esperanza en tu País el cuál tenía como objetivo contribuir a la reintegración socioeconómica con enfoque de género.
En la actualidad se está llevando a cabo un programa denominado Haz Click por un Mundo Mejor, este programa de Educación para la Paz ofrece alfabetización digital a 1.045 jóvenes de San Carlos, Granada, Cocorná, San Luís, San Francisco y Medellín.
