This project is an effective instrument to combat deforestation, global warming and redress the high demand for fuel wood in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. It also seeks to reestablish the link between natural resource management and nature as well as remove the people out of the old day practices that led to lost of biodiversity. The global objective of this project is to improve access to innovative energy renewal technologies and contribute to conservation
In the Northwest Region of Cameroon, the use of fuel wood is increasingly becoming an environmental hazard. The pressure on the small patches of forest by the rural population has contributed enormously in environment terror due to the price and inaccessibility of energy. Schools and institutions are no exception. The small scale waste recycling and bio gas project is a years project aimed at introducing bio gas in rural areas.
This project is also an effective instrument to combat deforestation, global warming and redress the high demand for fuel wood in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. It also seeks to reestablish the link between natural resource management and nature as well as remove the people out of the old day practices that led to lost of biodiversity. The global objective of this project is to improve access to innovative energy renewal technologies and contribute to conservation, discourage deforestation
Act as an effective tool to fight poverty Introduces bio gas production as alternative energy source for rural areas Foster conservation practices and protect nature (especially the small patches forest) Encourage group dynamics Stimulate schools and communities to engage in waste recycling Act as a tool that directly and indirectly ensures survival Mitigate climate change Create an environment friendly activities for protecting bio-diversity
