Youth Venture gives young people the support and credibility to be successful changemakers, providing opportunities for leadership and personal development. Of Venturers, 31% are from low-income communities, 33% are from predominantly minority communities, yet all have the potential to launch social ventures, given the right support and encouragement.
YV supports youth by helping them address social issues in their communities. Youth form teams and create sustainable action plans that must be approved by a panel. Then, they receive seed money and technical support to start their Venture Team.

YV is dramatically increasing the proportion of changemakers in the world by effectively reaching youth and providing them the opportunity to see their own potential, develop skills, and be taken seriously, creating an everyone a changemaker world.
“The critical factor for success of any human grouping - be it a company or a country - will be the proportion of changemakers it has to develop new ideas, take initiative and lead.”
