The Heroes Project works with US veterans, soldiers, and military families on all levels, with a goal of improving the care and protection of these heroes.
Too many of our nation's heroes return from their military service to find a disjointed sense of community or a lack of services to support their transition, particularly those who are in long-term recovery for wounds sustained in combat. The Heroes Project will benefit these underserved men and women through a combination of individual support, community empowerment, and systemic change.
The Heroes Project leverages the work of three initiatives that target different areas of need. One empowers wounded soldiers and veterans, another supports community service programs, and the last raises awareness of veterans' and soldier's issues.
This project will improve the support network and services available to our nation's heroes on various levels, ranging from individual impact to systemic change.
