Life at Fikelela Child and YOuth Care Centre is never boring. From the moment they open their eyes and a new day starts the activity begins. Hearing the voices of the young babies in their cots is like the alarm clock for the older children. Our Jerry Giraffe program has been such an instrumental part of their young lives, challenging behaviour and not listening to each other we pull out the talking flower and the star. Jerry Giraffe sessions we are able to get our children to share , talk about their emotions whether it is at the facility or in the playground area it has helped our children to grow. Their favourite song with Jerry is " I am special, i am special so are you , so are you , very very special, very very special, so are you . We affirm our children at all times and it makes them happy to be loved and cared for in this way. Your donations makes a difference to our lives.
