The recent devastating floods in Romagna deeply affected us all. In response, we pondered on how we could contribute positively to the lives of the affected youth. Our answer is to offer 30 young individuals a unique combination of holiday, volunteering, and personal growth experience. These workcamps will be organized in three rounds within the enchanting Casentinesi Forest National Park, specifically Ridracoli (FC), during June and July.
Our goal is to provide 30 young people residing in flooded areas with a period of respite, volunteerism, and active citizenship. IBO Italy is dedicated to ensuring their relaxation and alleviating worries stemming from the recent difficult situations they have faced. The workcamp will revolve around water and climate change themes, offering participants an opportunity to reflect on and process their personal experiences.
Our workcamps Located in the municipality of Bagno di Romagna, the dam, lake of Ridracoli, and IDRO Ecomuseum form a paradise-like setting with tremendous tourism and environmental significance. Our dedicated camp leaders will guide participants through themed workshops, facilitating reflections on nature, sustainability, and the importance of water resources. We are confident that this experience will be both awe-inspiring and unforgettable, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of all involved
