The "Centro Aprende" are scenarios that prevent school dropout through a great learning experience based on the participation and interaction of boys and girls, who strengthen their basic competencies in reading and writing, mathematical logic and socioemotional skills through actions mediated by play, games, corporal expression and experiential learning.
Dropping out of school is an issue that affects girls and boys frustrating their learning processes, basic competencies and socio-emotional competencies, increasing the risks of seeing them involved in illicit activities, child labor, child sexual exploitation, among other violations of their rights. Not continuing their educational process also affects the processes aimed at social development.
In the "Aprende Center" the children develop their learning potential and fall in love with school, through: Reflection on rights based on the production, comprehension and textual interpretation, and aesthetics of language. Problem solving through experiential learning, which enhances numerical, spatial and metric thinking skills. The development of skills such as handling and management of emotions and feelings, interpersonal relationships and self-knowledge.
The project will allow 2,500 children to continue in school, developing their basic and socioemotional skills, strengthening their life trajectory and contributing to social development.
