Our program is supplying funding for additional resources for the Pena Blanca primary school, including extra staffing to reduce class sizes and improve levels of education.
The number of students and families reached can be greatly increased by additional staffing. However, additional resources for the current teachers at the school would be beneficial and would allow the potential for higher levels of success for the children. These include: day-to-day teaching materials, developmental and supplemental materials, and a resource center.
Through education and further education, we can help the community improve their own conditions for the future. We aim to reduce the child/teacher ratio on the ground and in the classroom to provide a well-grounded education.
