In Igbeagu-Izzi more than 90% of the population live from agriculture. The farmers have generally only small lands (average of 2 hectares) which they are able to cultivate by hand. They face many barries to progress and have few opportunities for income. Specially young people loose often hope for the future and try to migrate. Their concern is how to earn an income which can improve the quality of life. Therefore the Project IZZI has startet programs to create secure jobs.
