There is significant pressure on the forests of Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico from deforestation caused by illegal loggers, forest fires, and the advance of the agricultural frontier.
EcoLogic's approach extends to the diverse communities throughout Mesoamerica. Collaborating with local municipalities and Indigenous governing bodies, such as the revered 48 Cantones of Totonicapan, Guatemala, and MAMUCA in Honduras. EcoLogic empowers communities to champion their forests' preservation.
