Summary
This project provides food stuff, vitamin and hygiene kits, and counseling for 300 pregnant women in 3 IDPs camps to improve the mother's health for safe delivery.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
This project will also address the antenatal problems of pregnant women in camps. These women are in stress due to the ongoing situation and they are highly in need of proper food, nutrition and medicines. No adequate medical facilities and proper food and nutrition are available in camps. There will be counseling for stress relief. Hygiene kits including food supplements and medications will be provided to the expectant mothers for their better health.
How will this project solve this problem?
• Counseling sessions with pregnant women for stress management
• Providing hygiene kits including towels, Dettol, soaps, tissues, multivitamins, iron syrup and tablets, anti allergic creams, antibiotics and painkillers, glucose, juices and milk
Potential Long Term Impact
The project will reduce food and iron deficiencies of pregnant women by providing hygiene kits including, food and medicines. Stress caused by the ongoing situation will be reduced by counselling.

This project will provide hygiene kits for health care and counseling to pregnant women to decrease their stress, due to ongoing situation, which may be harmful for mother and baby.
