Low-income, disadvantaged, unemployed women repeatedly encountering multiple barriers to success; barriers that force them into low wage industries that offer no benefits and little or no chance for advancement. Barriers that underscore the lack of adequate education and professional skills training, access to technology, poor money management and budgeting skills. These compounding challenges and the current unemployment crisis have created a critical impasse for women in need.
