HIV&AIDS prevalence in Kenya has subsequently declined in the last five years. National prevalence declined significantly from a peak of about 10% to under 5.1% in 2006. This trend is supported by data from national surveys which document changes in behaviour towards fewer partners, greater condom use and later age at first sex. 1. This project will lead to increased number of meals per day in the caregivers’ households from one to three hence reduced malnutrition and school retention 2. Improved nutritional values of the meals in the caregivers’ households.
