More than 700,000 Medicaid-eligible, American women give birth for the first time each year. With your help, Nurse-Family Partnership nurse home visitors can assist more low-income, at-risk mothers and their babies, changing their lives for the better.
Nurse-Family Partnership nurses currently serve more than 29,000 families - only a small percentage of eligible families - helping them to change their lives through better health, child development, and economic self-sufficiency.
Your help will enable us to serve more vulnerable women and their children.
Randomized, controlled trials of our program show measurable improvements in pregnancy outcomes, child health and development, and self-sufficiency for Nurse-Family Partnership-aided families. Independent analysis show those improvements save communities tax dollars.
