Tata is key to CNVLD localization plans. We want to be able to develop her superb leadership skills. She has great potential as leader of the Cambodian Disability sector. Tata copes with her own disability issues–she suffers from a severe case of polio that affected her right leg and must wear a bulky orthotic device. A most difficult aspect of fundraising is finding the necessary money for local salaries and operational costs – donor and organizations will not support operational costs.
Here’s the problem: One of the most difficult aspects of fundraising is raising funds for local salaries and operational costs – donors and organizations will not support operational costs – rather odd indeed as how can an organization carry out projects without being able to operate as no one wants to support the basic operational costs of an organization – kind of a Catch 22 to say the least.
This CNVLD GG project is on order to raise a year’s salary and education support for Tata Here is what we need: $300 x 12 month salary = $3600; $600 x 1 for two courses at the Australian Center for education; $20 x 12 for a transport subsidy to get Tata to school / Office and back = $240; $660 x 1 – the Global Giving fee for this project; The total we are seeking to raise to ensure that Tata becomes a leader of Cambodia's disability community is $5100
