In Mexico, illiteracy has been throughout its history an issue that has never been solved. Focusing on remote communities, the education problem is even worse. Our social work takes place especially in the central region of Mexico, in states like: Michoacán, Puebla, Tlaxcala and Queretaro. We enforce our efforts to provide educational and cultural tools for illiterate people with low resources in order for them to achieve a full development in their daily lives.
The project consist in two main working periods: 1) Young volunteers are capacitated in teaching methods. 2) During the summer volunteers teach adults and work in projects proposed by the community based on the knowledge acquired during the classes.
