Sassy - Before

Sassy was found near death with dog bites on her malnourished body. Her eyes were severely infected from corneal abrasions. She was seized immediately to provide critical care.

Sassy - After

Sassy fully recovered with an entire NC community of support. She was adopted into a new home on Christmas Day 2007.

General Lee - before

General Lee was malnourished and had severe hoof problems that disabled him from walking properly. With a simple procedure in his first year of life, General Lee would have been completely normal. He was 5 years old when he was turned over to USERL.

General Lee - after

General Lee had surgery to correct his malformity and bloomed under good care. His care currently is low maintenance, just a more frequent hoof trim to alleviate his club hooves. General Lee has been adopted by a wonderful family!
