Helping Women Start Businesses in Ecuador
Daughters of the Frente Femenino
Students from MIT International Development Consulting (IDC) Lauren Vegter and Richard Mancco, will travel to Ecuador in June 2009 to continue their ongoing support of NGO Children of Guayaquil. Their project involves teaching business skills to the Frente Femenino, a group of women determined to improve their community. The women will learn about saving, banking, pricing, and marketing, in their native language of Spanish.
