Summary

Alice School,offers education to underprivileged children, protecting and educating religious minorities such as Chakmas,this education program induces two changes: internal and external environement. Your donation would help them to pay for food, school, medicines, administration fees, clothing, electricity, maintenance and possible travel expenses.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

The Chakmas,minority from Bangladesh,have been under pressure from the military and police not to practice Buddhism.This community has suffered several abuses and has been forced to leave their home and refugee in India.Children are the most vulnerable part of the community and Alice School is concerned in educating and encouraging the children to know and understand their own traditions.The students are invited to integrate the values of their culture into practical action in their daily life.

How will this project solve this problem?

We sponsor the education for students including the food expenses, the school, teaching materials, medicines, administration fees, clothing, electricity, maintenance, and possible travel expenses.

Potential Long Term Impact

Alice’s Project educates 800 children by giving them proper education and encouraging them to understand their own traditions in order to be prepared for their future and well being.
