The students of Silverhill Elementary are officially Bay Buddies! Your support will help ACF continue our work to help students like these grow into environmentally conscious adults.

Finny is one of 5 animals who have a special message for Bay Buddy Participants. Finny teaches students to protect the water.

Students are eager to share their knowledge of the environment duting the interactive 45 minute program that ACF leads in public and private schools throughout South Alabama.

As part of a rain garden project, these 1st graders planted native species and went through the Bay Buddy Program- they look rather pleased, don't you think?

A Bay Buddy favorite, Rick teaches students that it is cool to recycle!

Students who are exposed to environmental science and conservation at an early age are more likely to grow into environmentally responsible adults.

Each student receives an activity booklet upon completion of the in-school program that build upon the principles of conservation. Students take this booklet home and share thier new knowledge with parents and friends.
