With so much at stake and so much opportunity, we seek your help in developing a Chinese interface for our new interactive social mapping platform to support our emerging network of local leaders.
Lack of resources and information prevents people from making better everyday choices, protecting biodiversity and addressing issues together. GreenMap.org already has a large Chinese audience and 15 diverse cities have locally-led Green Map projects underway. Supporting their access to the Open Green Map will lower technical and financial barriers to participation. Let's help them instantly chart green sites, nature, social and cultural resources thus guiding and inviting all to go green.
A Chinese interface will strengthen our emerging network and give their communities a healthier future. People are yearning to get involved and Green Mapmaking can fulfill that need, if we can provide the tools, trainings and universal icons to all.
At this critical time, our efforts to promote and localize the budding sustainability movement in China will bring people of all ages together to discover, share and care for their communities, directly countering pressing environmental challenges.
