Angela first became involved in Girls on the Run in 2005 and served as a running buddy, assistant coach, head coach and board member before assuming the role of Executive Director in June 2009. She is a former career firefighter and paramedic and currently is on the faculty at the University of Maryland College Park and is completing her Ph.D in Exercise Physiology.
