Morning ceremony

Morning ceremony
Despite taking a different and new approach, there still exist certain similarities between ordinary Paraguayan schools and the Mbaracayu Education Centre. Every morning, before class, the girls hoist the Paraguayan flag and sing the national anthem. (view small | med | large | orig)

Different cultures, countries and identities

Different cultures, countries and identities
The Centre brings together girls from different countries, cultures, origins and identities. These two girls come from a local indigenous group, the Aché. 90% of the indigenous people of Paraguay are pregnant by the age of 14. They are faced with a very sad and uncertain life, without opportunities. (view small | med | large | orig)
