Results of the Global Open Challenge...

Now that the results have posted, we wanted to send you a short update and a thank you note for helping LIN to greatly exceed the fund raising target we had set to Empower Local Nonprofits to Reduce Inequality in Vietnam

At the beginning of GlobalGiving's Global Open Project Challenge, we set a goal for ourselves to raise USD $11,384 for this project in 2010. Not only did we achieve that goal, in just over one month, but you also helped us to exceed the target by more than $5,000! Because you helped us to raise so much money, we also found ourselves in third place overall, in terms of the funds raised, which means that we won $3,000 from GlobalGiving!!!

We will gather the LIN team together to see how we might allocate the additional $8,323. If you have any preferences, recommendations or suggestions, please feel free to email us at: donor@LINvn.org. Either way, we will keep you updated on our progress.

Thank you so much for your support to the LIN Center for Community Development!

Sincerely, Your friends at LIN
